Dr. Ana George is a native Texan, born and raised in Dallas. She attended Trinity University in San Antonio and earned her Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2009. She then moved to Houston to attend the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She graduated from medical school in 2013 and then completed her Pediatric Residency at the University of Texas at Houston/Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital in 2016. After completing her training in Houston, she moved to Tyler and joined the TFCC team.
She was inspired to work with children by her mother, who was a kindergarten teacher for 36 years. She instilled a passion of helping children and serving her community in Dr. George from an early age. Dr. George was fortunate enough to study abroad in Madrid, Spain during medical school in order to improve her Spanish language skills and to learn more about her father's heritage. She is a fluent Spanish speaker.
Dr. George is married to a native East Texan, who was very happy to return to the area after living in Houston for 3 years. They enjoy spending time together with their families, exploring Tyler, and playing with their dog, a French Mastiff named Ruby. She is very happy to be a part of TFCC and is looking forward to caring for the families of East Texas.
