Anne Whitney, MD
Dr. Anne Whitney is an East Texas native. She grew up in the piney woods between Hawkins and Mineola, and attended Hawkins schools as a child. She then received her Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and went on to receive her MD degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
She stayed in Houston at Baylor College of Medicine for three more years for internship and residency in Pediatrics. During this time she spent the majority of her training hours at Ben Taub General Hospital and Texas Children’s Hospital. After graduating from residency in 2011, she returned home to East Texas, joining Diagnostic Clinic of Longview (DCOL) as a General Pediatrician. She spent almost five and a half years with DCOL, and now happily joins Family Circle of Care to continue caring for the children of East Texas.
Dr. Whitney lives in Tyler with her two children, a daughter who is 6 years old, and a son who is 3, and she considers her children to be her best teachers with regard to the practice of Pediatrics. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being creative, and taking in the great outdoors.”
