Becky Risinger, MD
Dr. Becky Risinger is a native of Texas and has been a pediatrician for 30 years. She went to Medical School in Galveston, Texas at the University of Texas Medical Branch. She worked for UTMB for 25 years; where she took care of patients and helped with teaching medical students and residents. She was blessed to be a part of a wonderful clinic there and was there long enough to see her patients have children of their own. Loving East Texas and always wanting to live here, she was fortunate to find a great practice to join in Tyler in 2009; one that values quality and gives compassionate care. Dr. Risinger enjoys all pediatric patients but especially enjoys those with special health needs.
Dr. Risinger enjoys her family and loves to spend time with them. Her interests include Bible study, traveling, cooking and gardening. She loves to read good spy thriller or historical novels as well. Her goal in life is to live a life that honor’s Jesus Christ.
Dr. Risinger’s awards include 2007 St. Luke’s Episcopal Health Charities Ambassador Award (given for humanitarian work), Community Preceptor Award, UTHSC, Tyler, Texas 2009 (Chosen by the Family Medicine Residents) and elected to SuperDoctors 2015. She also serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Family Circle of Care.
