Eduardo Torres, MD
Dr. Eduardo Torres is originally from Puerto Rico. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. He received his medical degree graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico. He finished his OBGYN training at the University of Puerto Rico in 2005. He served as the Administrative Chief Resident during his last year in training. Dr. Torres and his family moved to the Washington DC area to start working in 2005.
He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, since 2006. Ever since he started practicing he has enjoyed managing high risk obstetric patients and all types of gynecologic care.
Dr. Torres has received numerous awards during his career including the George Washington University and Virginia Commonwealth University excellence in teaching awards.
In 2013, Dr. Torres moved to Tyler, Texas to join the Family Circle of Care. He was named an Outstanding Community Preceptor by the UTHSC in Tyler’s Family Medicine Program. He became part of the administrative team in 2015 as the OB-Gyn Lead physician.
Dr. Torres loves living here in Tyler, Texas, due to the great quality of life and because Tyler is such a family oriented community. He loves sports and enjoys spending all the time he can with his family.
