Karen Hill is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of Rochester with her MS in Care of Children and Families in 1998 after having worked for many years as an RN in NICU, Well Baby and Pediatric ICU settings. Karen worked at the El Paso Hospital District as Pediatric Clinical Expert and in the hospital’s outpatient clinics from 1999 to 2012. Karen lived in Cuernavaca, Mexico for 4 months in 2002 learning Spanish and the Mexican culture.
She loves to teach families how to improve their child’s health and well-being in addition to helping them feel better when sick. In 2013 she headed to East Texas via the Austin area always working in pediatric clinic settings.
Karen and her husband Brian have raised 8 children, four of whom they adopted through CPS and enjoy 9 (and counting) grandchildren. She enjoys gardening, teaching English as a second language and yearly mission trips to Mexico.
