She developed a special interest in preventive medicine and the care of common chronic medical problems in children, particularly obesity, asthma, and attention and behavior problems.

Both she and her husband have since then, worked at the Family Circle of Care (TFCC). At TFCC, she is in charge of specialty clinics where she and clinic staff educate and treat children with asthma, attention and behavior problems, and overweight and obese children (“Healthy Kids” Program). She has developed a group visit model where several children are seen together for common medical problems. During the visit, children and their families are seen and examined by Dr. Marin, while they are also educated on disease prevention and treatment.
